About the Innosuisse Flagship 2026 Call

Innosuisse is the Swiss Innovation Agency. Its Flagship Initiative funds systemic innovation that no single organisation can deliver alone. This edition focuses on defence and mobility. As a result, it suits teams working on resilient transport, secure infrastructure and critical urban systems. Projects must show a clear path from research to real implementation. Who Can Apply to the Innosuisse Flagship 2026 Call

Consortia must combine Swiss research partners with implementation partners. In addition, teams should be transdisciplinary and cover technology, users and deployment. Each project must address dual-use needs. Therefore, this call is most relevant for UTA’s Swiss-based members.

Focus Areas and Funding

The call covers resilient and secure technologies for defence and mobility. Funding is large-scale, and budgets depend on the consortium and project scope. However, only well-prepared consortia can realistically meet the short timeline. In short, applicants should align their project closely with the expected outcomes and impact described in the call text.

Deadline and How to Apply

Pre-proposals are due on 27 October 2026 at 12:00 CET. Selected teams then submit a full proposal by 4 May 2027. For this reason, consortia should already be formed before applying.
