Strategic Vision and Achivements

Taipei has pursued a ‘Smart City 2.0’ strategy since 2019, focusing on open data, digital infrastructure, AI governance, and public-private co-creation. Key achievements include a city-wide LoRa IoT network, the Taipei Smart City PMO co-creation model attracting over 600 pilots, a unified Taipei Pass mobility application, and consecutive top rankings at the Smart City Expo World Congress awards (Barcelona, 2019–2023).
